This is CD cover art from "The Banshee" CD produced by Kate McMillen & Tony O'Connell. Art by Kate.

The Tree of Life motif around the border was taken from a pencil sketch, then pen & ink, then scanned into the computer and enhanced with Photoshop. The knot work background was also taken from a hand drawn pen & ink, then tiled in Photoshop.

These works were based on a black & white photograph of Kate from the 1990's, taken by photographer Warren Cosgrove, in New York State. Pen & ink drawings were added. Adapted in Photoshop for CD related art by Kate.
